These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Improvise mobile application and related services operated by IMPROVISE ("Improvise", "we", "our", "us"). By using Improvise, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and Account

• You must be at least 13 years old (or the age required in your jurisdiction).
• You agree to provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for protecting your credentials.

2. Service Description

Improvise provides mental training scenarios, progress tracking, real-life reflection tools, and related features. Content is for educational and self-development purposes only.

3. No Professional Advice

Improvise does not provide medical, mental health, legal, financial, or emergency advice. Do not rely on app output for critical decisions without qualified professional guidance.

4. User Content

You may submit text/content (including Real Life Mode input). You retain ownership of your content. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, and use that content solely to provide and improve the service, including AI processing as described in our Privacy Policy.

You must not submit unlawful, abusive, infringing, or harmful content.

5. Acceptable Use

• No reverse engineering, scraping, unauthorized automation, or abuse of the service.
• No attempts to bypass paywalls, security controls, or account restrictions.
• No use of the service to violate law or others’ rights.

6. Subscriptions and Billing (Improvise Pro)

• Paid features may be offered via auto-renewing subscriptions.
• Billing is processed by Apple App Store / Google Play (and managed in-app via RevenueCat).
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before renewal through your store account settings.
• Prices, trial terms, and feature access may vary by region/platform.
• Refunds are handled by the applicable app store, subject to store policy.

7. Leaderboard and Public Display

If you participate in leaderboards, your display name, XP, and streak may be visible to other signed-in users. Choose a display name you are comfortable sharing.

8. Intellectual Property

The app, branding, software, scenario system, and related materials are owned by or licensed to IMPROVISE and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, or where required for legal/security reasons. You may stop using the app at any time and may request account deletion in app settings.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, IMPROVISE will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data/profits arising from use of the service.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify IMPROVISE from claims, liabilities, and expenses arising from your misuse of the service or violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Nigeria, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
