2.1 Information you provide

• Account details (such as email address and display name).
• Content you submit in Real Life Mode (situation text and related prompts).
• Support communications and inquiries.

2.2 Information generated through app use

• Progress data (XP, streaks, completed scenarios, daily challenge progress, achievements).
• Subscription and entitlement status.
• Referral information (referral code usage and milestone progress).
• Leaderboard-related stats (display name, XP, streak).

2.3 Device and technical data

• Authentication/session state and app cache data stored on your device.
• Basic diagnostic and error information needed to keep the service working.

3. How We Use Information

• Provide core app functionality and account authentication.
• Save and sync progress across sessions/devices.
• Generate Real Life Mode analysis.
• Operate leaderboards and referral rewards.
• Process subscriptions and restore purchases.
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues.
• Comply with legal obligations.

5. Third-Party Services and Data Sharing

We use service providers to operate parts of Improvise. Depending on feature use, data may be processed by:

• Supabase (authentication, database, backend infrastructure).
• Anthropic (AI processing for Real Life Mode content).
• RevenueCat (subscription and entitlement management).
• Apple / Google (sign-in, billing and platform services where applicable).

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as needed to provide the service, comply with law, or protect rights/safety.

6. Public Information (Leaderboard)

If you appear on leaderboards, other signed-in users may see your display name, XP, and streak. We do not display your email address or Real Life Mode content to other users.

7. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service and for legitimate business/legal purposes. Account-related cloud data is retained until account deletion is requested and completed, unless longer retention is required by law.

8. Data Security

We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. However, no system is 100% secure. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials.

9. International Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own by us or our service providers. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border data transfers.

10. Your Rights and Choices

• Update your display name in app settings.
• Manage notification preferences on your device.
• Manage/cancel subscriptions via App Store / Google Play or in-app subscription settings.
• Delete your account from in-app settings (removes cloud profile data subject to legal retention requirements).
• Clear app data on device (removes local cache only).

11. Children’s Privacy

Improvise is not directed to children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate action.
